Vidura’s Report and Portents

एवमुक्‍त्वा तु कौन्तेयमपोह् वसनं स्वकम्‌ । स्मयन्नवेक्ष्य पाज्चालीमैश्वर्यमदमोहित:,कुन्तीकुमार युधिष्ठिस्से ऐसा कहकर ऐश्वर्यमदसे मोहित हुए दुर्योधनने इशारेसे राधानन्दन कर्णको बढ़ावा देते और भीमसेनका तिरस्कार-सा करते हुए अपनी जाँघका वस्त्र हटाकर द्रौपदीकी ओर मुसकराते हुए देखा। उसने केलेके खंभेके समान मोटी, समस्त लक्षणोंसे सुशोभित, हाथीकी सूँडके सदृश चढ़ाव-उतारवाली और वज्रके समान कठोर अपनी बायीं जाँघ द्रौपदीकी दृष्टिके सामने करके दिखायी

കൗന്തേയനായ യുദ്ധിഷ്ഠിരനോട് ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ട്, ഐശ്വര്യമദത്തിൽ മോഹിതനായ ദുര്യോധനൻ തന്റെ വസ്ത്രം നീക്കി, പുഞ്ചിരിയോടെ പാഞ്ചാലിയിലേക്കു നോക്കി।
