सभा-पर्यवसान-प्रस्थानवचनम् | Counsel at the Point of Departure
उपपन्नं च पाज्चालि तवेदं वृत्तमीदृशम् । यत् कृच्छूमपि सम्प्राप्ता धर्ममेवान्ववेक्षसे,पांचालराजकुमारी! तुम्हारा यह आचार-व्यवहार तुम्हारे योग्य ही है; क्योंकि भारी संकटमें पड़कर भी तुम धर्मकी ओर ही देख रही हो
upapannaṃ ca pāñcāli tavedaṃ vṛttam īdṛśam | yat kṛcchram api samprāptā dharmam evānvavekṣase ||
ഭീഷ്മർ പറഞ്ഞു—പാഞ്ചാലി! നിന്റെ ഈ പെരുമാറ്റം നിനക്കു യോജിച്ചതുതന്നെ; കാരണം കടുത്ത ദുരിതത്തിൽ വീണിട്ടും നീ ധർമ്മത്തെയേ നോക്കി നിൽക്കുന്നു.
