Nārada’s Examination of Royal Ethics
कच्चित् स्त्रिय: सान्त्वयसि कच्चित् ताश्च सुरक्षिता: । कच्चिन्न श्रद्दधास्यासां कच्चिद् गुह्ूं न भाषसे,तुम स्त्रियोंको सान्त्वना देकर संतुष्ट रखते हो न? क्या वे तुम्हारे यहाँ पूर्णरूपसे सुरक्षित हैं? तुम उनपर पूरा विश्वास तो नहीं करते? और विश्वास करके उन्हें कोई गुप्त बात तो नहीं बता देते?
kaccit striyaḥ sāntvayasi kaccit tāś ca surakṣitāḥ | kaccin na śraddadhāsyāsāṃ kaccid guhyaṃ na bhāṣase ||
നാരദൻ പറഞ്ഞു— നീ സ്ത്രീകളെ ആശ്വാസവചനങ്ങളാലും മൃദുവായ ഭാഷയാലും സന്തുഷ്ടരാക്കുന്നുണ്ടോ? അവർ നിന്റെ രാജ്യത്തിൽ പൂർണ്ണമായി സുരക്ഷിതരാണോ? കൂടാതെ നീ അവരിൽ പൂർണ്ണവിശ്വാസം വെക്കാതെ, യാതൊരു രഹസ്യകാര്യവും അവരോട് വെളിപ്പെടുത്താതെ ഇരിക്കുന്നുണ്ടോ?
