Nārada’s Examination of Royal Ethics
कच्चिन्न लुब्धा श्लौरा वा वैरिणो वा विशाम्पते । अप्राप्तव्यवहारा वा तव कर्मस्वनुछिता:,राजन! तुमने ऐसे लोगोंको तो अपने कामोंपर नहीं लगा रखा है? जो लोभी, चोर, शत्रु अथवा व्यावहारिक अनुभवसे सर्वथा शून्य हों?
kaccin na lubdhā śaurā vā vairiṇo vā viśāmpate | aprāptavyavahārā vā tava karmasv anucitāḥ ||
നാരദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ജനാധിപതേ! നിന്റെ കാര്യങ്ങളിൽ അയോഗ്യരായവരെ നീ നിയോഗിച്ചിട്ടില്ലല്ലോ—ലോഭികൾ, വഞ്ചകർ, ശത്രുക്കൾ, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ വ്യവഹാരപരിചയം തീർത്തും ഇല്ലാത്തവർ?
