दुर्योधनस्य बलिवर्णनम् — Duryodhana’s Description of Tribute at the Rājasūya
अप्रह्ृष्टेन मनसा राजसूये महाक्रतौ । प्रेक्ष्य तामद्भुतामृद्धि जगाम गजसाह्दयम्
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: aprahṛṣṭena manasā rājasūye mahākratau | prekṣya tām adbhutām ṛddhiṁ jagāma gajasāhṛdayam, rājan |
രാജസൂയ മഹാക്രതുവിൽ ആ അത്ഭുതസമൃദ്ധി കണ്ടിട്ടും ദുര്യോധനന്റെ മനസ്സ് ഹർഷിച്ചില്ല; അസൂയയും അപമാനവും ഭാരമായ ഹൃദയത്തോടെ അവൻ ഗജസാഹ്വയം—ഹസ്തിനാപുരം—വരെ പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
