Adhyāya 33: Antarvedī-Samāgama, Arghya-Nirṇaya, and Śiśupāla’s Objection

बलीनां सम्यगादानादू धर्मतश्नानुशासनात्‌ | निकामवर्षी पर्जन्य: स्फीतो जनपदो5भवत्‌,न्यायपूर्वक कर लेने और धर्मपूर्वक शासन करनेसे उनके राज्यमें मेघ इच्छानुसार वर्षा करते थे। इस प्रकार युधिष्ठिरका सम्पूर्ण जनपद धन-धान्यसे सम्पन्न हो गया था

balīnāṃ samyag-ādānād dharmataś cānuśāsanāt | nikāma-varṣī parjanyaḥ sphīto janapado 'bhavat ||

ബലവാന്മാരിൽ നിന്ന് ന്യായമായി കരമടക്കി, ധർമ്മാനുസൃതമായി ഭരണം നടത്തിയതിനാൽ മേഘങ്ങൾ ഇഷ്ടാനുസരണം മഴ പെയ്തു. അങ്ങനെ യുധിഷ്ഠിരന്റെ സമസ്ത ജനപദം ധനധാന്യസമൃദ്ധിയായി പുഷ്ടിയായി.
