नायं पापो मया कृष्ण युक्त: स्यादनुरोधितुम् । प्राणेन यदुशार्टूल बद्धकक्षेण वाससा,“यदुश्रेष्ठ श्रीकृष्ण! जरासंधने लंगोटसे अपनी कमर खूब कस ली है। यह पापी प्राण रहते मेरे वशमें आनेवाला नहीं जान पड़ता”
naayaṃ pāpo mayā kṛṣṇa yuktaḥ syād anurodhitum | prāṇena yaduśārṭūla baddhakakṣeṇa vāsasā ||
ഹേ കൃഷ്ണാ! ഈ പാപി എനാൽ നിയന്ത്രിക്കപ്പെടുകയോ, അപേക്ഷിച്ച് വഴങ്ങുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്നവനായി തോന്നുന്നില്ല. ഹേ യദുശാർദൂലാ! പ്രാണം ഉള്ളിടത്തോളം പോരാടാൻ നിശ്ചയിച്ച് അവൻ വസ്ത്രംകൊണ്ട് അര കെട്ടി മുറുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു—ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കെ അവൻ എന്റെ അധീനനാകില്ല।
