सर्वेषां दीयतां देयं मुडचन् कोपमदावुभौ । साधु धर्मेति धर्मेति नान्यच्छूयेत भाषितम्,क्रोध और अभिमानसे रहित होकर राजा युधिष्ठिरने अपने सेवकोंसे कह दिया कि 'देनेयोग्य वस्तुएँ सबको दी जायँ अथवा सारी जनताका पावना (ऋण) चुका दिया जाय।' उनके राज्यमें “धर्मराज! आप धन्य हैं। धर्मस्वरूप युधिष्ठिर आपको साधुवाद!” इसके सिवा और कोई बात नहीं सुनी जाती थी

കോപവും അഹങ്കാരവും രണ്ടും ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് രാജാവ് യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ കല്പിച്ചു—“നൽകേണ്ടത് എല്ലാവർക്കും നൽകപ്പെടട്ടെ.” ആ രാജ്യത്ത് ‘സാധു! ധർമ്മം! ധർമ്മം!’ എന്ന വാഴ്ത്തൊഴികെ മറ്റൊന്നും കേൾക്കപ്പെട്ടില്ല।
