तस्य ज्याछेदनं कर्णो ज्यावधानं च संयुगे । नान्वबुध्यत व पलक भवत्‌

Transliteration

tasya jyācchedanaṃ karṇo jyāvadhānaṃ ca saṃyuge | nānvabudhyata vai palakabhavat ||

Translation

സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—യുദ്ധത്തിൽ അർജുനന്റെ ജ്യ മുറിയുന്നതും അതേ നിമിഷം മറ്റൊരു ജ്യ ഘടിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതും അത്ര വേഗത്തിൽ സംഭവിച്ചു; കർണ്ണനും പോലും അത് തിരിച്ചറിയാനായില്ല. രണഭൂമിയിലെ അത്ഭുതമായിരുന്നു അത്।
