ततो धनुज्यामवनाम्य शीघ्र शरानस्तानाधिरथेर्विंधम्य
tato dhanujyām avanāmya śīghraṃ śarān astānādhirather vindhamya
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അതിനുശേഷം അവൻ വേഗത്തിൽ ധനുസ്സിന്റെ ഞാണു താഴ്ത്തി, രഥസ്ഥനായ യോദ്ധാവിനെ ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കി അമ്പുകൾ ഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇത് യുദ്ധകൗശലത്തിന്റെ അടിയന്തര പ്രവർത്തി—സമരത്തിന്റെ തിരക്കിൽ നൈപുണ്യവും വേഗവും എതിരാളിയെ വീഴ്ത്തുന്ന കഠിന കൃത്യത്തിലേക്ക് തിരിയുന്നു.
