तथा च सर्वास्तिमिरेण वै दिशो मेघैर्व॒ता न प्रदृश्येत किंचित् । अथापोवाह्या भ्रसंघान् समस्तान् वायव्यास्त्रेणापतत: स कर्णात्
sañjaya uvāca | tathā ca sarvāstimireṇa vai diśo meghair vātā na pradṛśyeta kiñcit | athāpovāhyā bhra-saṅghān samastān vāyavyāstreṇāpatataḥ sa karṇāt |
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—മേഘങ്ങൾ ചുറ്റിപ്പിടിച്ചതിനാൽ സർവ്വദിക്കുകളും ഘോരാന്ധകാരത്തിൽ മൂടപ്പെട്ടു; ഒന്നും കാണാനായില്ല. അപ്പോൾ കർണ്ണന്റെ ഭാഗത്തുനിന്ന് പാഞ്ഞുവന്ന മുഴുവൻ മേഘസംഘങ്ങളെയും ധനഞ്ജയൻ വായവ്യാസ്ത്രംകൊണ്ട് ചിതറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
