देवाधिदेव ब्रह्मा और महादेवजीके ऐसा कहनेपर इन्द्रने सम्पूर्ण प्राणियोंको बुलाकर उन दोनोंकी आज्ञा सुनायी ।।
sañjaya uvāca | śrutaṃ bhavadbhir yat prokte bhagavadbhyāṃ jagaddhitam | tat tathā nānyathā taddhi tiṣṭhadhvaṃ vigatajvarāḥ ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“ലോകഹിതത്തിനായി ആ രണ്ടു ദിവ്യപ്രഭുക്കൾ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചതെല്ലാം നിങ്ങൾ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അത് അങ്ങനെ തന്നെയാകും; മറ്റെങ്ങനെമല്ല. അതിന് വിരുദ്ധമായി സംഭവിക്കുക അസാധ്യം. അതുകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങൾ ഉറച്ചുനിൽക്കുക, ആശങ്ക വിട്ടൊഴിയുക.”
