इत्युक्तो देवदेवा भ्यां सहस्राक्षो5ब्रवीद् वच: । आमन्त्र्य सर्वभूतानि ब्रह्देशानानुशासनम्
ity ukto devadevābhyāṃ sahasrākṣo 'bravīd vacaḥ | āmantṛya sarvabhūtāni brahadeśānānuśāsanam ||
ആ രണ്ടു ദേവദേവന്മാർ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ സഹസ്രാക്ഷനായ ഇന്ദ്രൻ വചനം പറഞ്ഞു. സകലഭൂതങ്ങളോടും വിധിപൂർവം വിടപറഞ്ഞ ശേഷം, വിശാല പ്രദേശങ്ങളെ സംബന്ധിച്ച തന്റെ ആജ്ഞ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു.
