ity ukto devadevābhyāṃ sahasrākṣo 'bravīd vacaḥ | āmantṛya sarvabhūtāni brahadeśānānuśāsanam ||
ആ രണ്ടു ദേവദേവന്മാർ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ സഹസ്രാക്ഷനായ ഇന്ദ്രൻ വചനം പറഞ്ഞു. സകലഭൂതങ്ങളോടും വിധിപൂർവം വിടപറഞ്ഞ ശേഷം, വിശാല പ്രദേശങ്ങളെ സംബന്ധിച്ച തന്റെ ആജ്ഞ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു.
संजय उवाच
