दृष्टवा तु तत् कर्म कृतं सुदुष्करं प्रापूजयन् सर्वयोधा: प्रहृष्टा:
sañjaya uvāca | dṛṣṭvā tu tat karma kṛtaṃ suduṣkaraṃ prāpūjayan sarvayodhāḥ prahṛṣṭāḥ |
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അത്യന്തം ദുഷ്കരമായ ആ കർമ്മം സാധിച്ചതുകണ്ട് എല്ലാ യോദ്ധാക്കളും ആഹ്ലാദിച്ച് അവനെ വാഴ്ത്തി, ഭൂരി-ഭൂരിയായി പ്രശംസിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രൻ ഉടൻ തന്നെ ഒരു അമ്പുകൊണ്ട് ഭീമസേനനെ ആഴത്തിൽ കുത്തി ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേൽപ്പിച്ചു. അതോടെ ഭീമന്റെ ക്രോധം വീണ്ടും ജ്വലിച്ചു; അവനെ നോക്കി ദൃഷ്ടി ഉറപ്പിച്ച് ക്ഷണത്തിൽ തന്നെ രോഷത്തിൽ പ്രജ്വലിച്ചു.
