ततः क्रुद्धों भीमसेनस्तरस्वी शक्ति चोग्रां प्राहिणोत् ते सुताय । तामापतन्ती सहसातिघोरां दृष्टवा सुतस्ते ज्वलितामिवोल्काम्
tataḥ kruddho bhīmasenas tarasvī śaktiṃ cogrāṃ prāhiṇot te sutāya | tām āpatantīṃ sahasātighorāṃ dṛṣṭvā sutas te jvalitām ivolkām ||
അപ്പോൾ ക്രോധാഗ്നിയിൽ ജ്വലിച്ച ബലവാനായ ഭീമസേനൻ നിന്റെ പുത്രനിലേക്കു ഭയങ്കരമായ ഒരു ശക്തി എറിഞ്ഞു. അത് ക്ഷണത്തിൽ അതിഘോരമായി പാഞ്ഞുവരുന്നത്—ജ്വലിക്കുന്ന ഉൽക്കപോലെ—കണ്ട്, നിന്റെ പുത്രൻ യുദ്ധമദ്ധ്യേ തന്നെ ആ മഹാപായം ദർശിച്ചു।
