व्याकुलीकृतमत्यर्थ परसैन्यं किरीटिना । नानामृगसहस््राणां यूथं केसरिणां यथा
vyākulīkṛtam atyarthaṁ parasainyaṁ kirīṭinā | nānāmṛga-sahasrāṇāṁ yūthaṁ kesariṇāṁ yathā ||
കിരീടധാരിയായ അർജുനൻ ശത്രുസൈന്യത്തെ അത്യന്തം വ്യാകുലമാക്കി—വിവിധജാതികളായ ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തെ കേശരിയായ സിംഹം ഭീതിയിലാഴ്ത്തുന്നതുപോലെ.
