छत्राणि वालव्यजनानि केतू- नश्वान् रथान् पत्तिगणान डिपांश्व । ते पेतुरुव्या बहुधा विरूपा वातप्रणुन्नानि यथा वनानि,उनके चलाये हुए छोटे-बड़े सभी अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंकी अकेले किरीटमाली अर्जुनने छुर, अर्धचन्द्र तथा तीखे भल्लोंसे काट डाला। साथ ही उनके मस्तकों, भुजाओं, छत्रों, चवरों, ध्वजाओं, अश्वों, रथों, पैदलसमूहों तथा हाथियोंके भी टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर डाले। वे सब अनेक टुकड़ोंमें बँटकर विरूप हो आँधीके उखाड़े हुए वनोंके समान पृथ्वीपर गिर पड़े

ചത്രങ്ങൾ, ചാമരങ്ങൾ, പതാകകൾ, കുതിരകൾ, രഥങ്ങൾ, പദാതിസംഘങ്ങൾ, ഗജങ്ങൾ—എല്ലാം പല കഷണങ്ങളായി തകർന്നു വികൃതരൂപത്തിൽ ഭൂമിയിൽ വീണു; പ്രചണ്ഡവാതം പറിച്ചെറിഞ്ഞ വനങ്ങൾ നിലത്തേക്ക് ചിതറിവീഴുന്നതുപോലെ।
