यतो यत: पाण्डवेय: प्रविष्टो रथसत्तम: । ततस्ततो5घातयत योधान् शतसहस्रश:,रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ पाण्डुनन्दन भीमसेन जिस-जिस ओर घुसते, उसी ओर लाखों योद्धाओंका संहार कर डालते थे
yato yataḥ pāṇḍaveyaḥ praviṣṭo rathasattamaḥ | tatastato ’ghātayat yodhān śatasahasraśaḥ ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—രഥികളിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ പാണ്ഡവൻ ഏതു ഏതു ദിക്കിലേക്കു കുതിച്ചുകയറിയോ, അവിടവിടെയെല്ലാം ശതസഹസ്രക്കണക്കിന് ശത്രുയോദ്ധാക്കളെ വീഴ്ത്തി.
