ते वै निपेतुस्तपनीयपुड्खा द्विधा त्रिधा भीमशरैर्निकृत्ता: । ततो राजन् नागरथाश्चयूनां भीमाहतानां वरराजमध्ये
te vai nipetustapanīyapuḍkhā dvidhā tridhā bhīmaśarair nikṛttāḥ | tato rājan nāgarathāś ca yūnāṃ bhīmahātānāṃ vararājamadhye ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—സ്വർണ്ണപ്പക്ഷങ്ങളുള്ള ആ അമ്പുകൾ ഭീമന്റെ അമ്പുകളാൽ രണ്ടും മൂന്നും കഷണങ്ങളായി മുറിഞ്ഞ് നിലത്തു വീണു. പിന്നെ, രാജാവേ, രാജശ്രേഷ്ഠരുടെ നടുവിൽ തന്നേ ഭീമൻ പ്രഹരിച്ച രഥങ്ങളും യോദ്ധാക്കളും തകർന്നു വീണു.
