चलतस्तस्य कायात् तु शिरो ज्वलितकुण्डलम् | सोष्णीषं सशिरस्त्राणं क्षुरप्रेण त्वपातयद्
calatastasya kāyāt tu śiro jvalitakuṇḍalam | soṣṇīṣaṃ saśirastrāṇaṃ kṣurapreṇa tvapātayat ||
അവൻ ഇനിയും ചലിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ, കൃപാചാര്യൻ ക്ഷുരപ്ര എന്ന വാൾമുനപോലുള്ള അമ്പുകൊണ്ട്, ജ്വലിക്കുന്ന കുണ്ഡലങ്ങളാൽ അലങ്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ട സുകേതുവിന്റെ തല—ഉഷ്ണീഷവും ശിരസ്ത്രാണവും സഹിതം—അവന്റെ വിറയുന്ന ദേഹത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വെട്ടി വീഴ്ത്തി।
