कर्णवधार्थं धनञ्जयस्य प्रतिज्ञा — Arjuna’s resolve for Karṇa’s defeat
ततो<5परेण भल्लेन केतुं विव्याध मारिष । स वानरवरो राजन् विश्वकर्मकृतो महान्
tato 'pareṇa bhallena ketuṁ vivyādha māriṣa | sa vānaravaro rājan viśvakarmakṛto mahān |
അനന്തരം മറ്റൊരു ഭല്ലംകൊണ്ട് അവൻ കേതുവിനെ കുത്തിത്തുളച്ചു, ഹേ മാരിഷ. ഹേ രാജൻ, വിശ്വകർമ്മൻ നിർമ്മിച്ച ആ മഹത്തായ വാനരചിഹ്നം യുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ ഘോരതയ്ക്കിടയിലും രാജവീര്യത്തിന്റെ മഹാസൂചനയായി നിലകൊണ്ടു।
