कर्णवधार्थं धनञ्जयस्य प्रतिज्ञा — Arjuna’s resolve for Karṇa’s defeat
रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ सुशर्मा उनके ऊपर बाणोंकी वर्षा करने लगा तथा अन्य संशप्तकोंने भी अर्जुनको अनेक बाण मारे ।।
suśarmā tu tataḥ pārtha viddhvā daśabhir āśugaiḥ | janārdanaṃ tribhir bāṇair ahanad dakṣiṇe bhuje ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അപ്പോൾ രഥികളിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ സുശർമൻ പാർത്ഥനെ പത്ത് വേഗബാണങ്ങളാൽ കുത്തി; പിന്നെ ജനാർദനനായ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണന്റെ വലതുഭുജത്തിലും മൂന്ന് ബാണങ്ങളാൽ പ്രഹരിച്ചു।
