Adhyāya 41 — Kṛṣṇa’s Battlefield Briefing and the Renewal of the Great Engagement
ऊरुप्रभेदाच्च महान् बभूव शरीरतो मे घनशोणितौघ: । गुरोर्भयाच्चापि न चेलिवानहं ततो विबुद्धों ददृशे स विप्र:,'जाँघमें घाव हो जानेके कारण मेरे शरीरसे गाढ़े रक्तका महान् प्रवाह बह चला; परंतु गुरुके जागनेके भयसे मैं तनिक भी विचलित नहीं हुआ। तत्पश्चात् जब गुरुजी जागे, तब उन्होंने यह सब कुछ देखा
ūruprabhedāc ca mahān babhūva śarīrato me ghanaśoṇitaughaḥ | guror bhayāc cāpi na celivān ahaṃ tato vibuddho dadṛśe sa vipraḥ ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—തുട കുത്തിപ്പൊളിഞ്ഞതിനാൽ എന്റെ ശരീരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് കട്ടിയുള്ള രക്തം മഹാപ്രവാഹമായി ഒഴുകി; എങ്കിലും ഗുരു ഉണരുമോ എന്ന ഭയത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അല്പവും കുലുങ്ങിയില്ല. പിന്നെ ഗുരു ഉണർന്നപ്പോൾ ആ ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ എല്ലാം കണ്ടു.
