Karṇa’s Pressure on the Pāñcālas; Duryodhana Disabled; Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
जातो$हं यज्वनां वंशे संग्रामेष्वनिवर्तिनाम् । राज्ञां मूर्थाभिषिक्तानां स्वयं धर्मपरायण:,'सूतपुत्र! मैं युद्धमें पीठ न दिखानेवाले यज्ञपरायण, मूर्धाभिषिक्त नरेशोंके कुलमें उत्पन्न हुआ हूँ और स्वयं भी धर्ममें तत्पर रहता हूँ
jāto 'haṃ yajvanāṃ vaṃśe saṃgrāmeṣv anivartinām | rājñāṃ mūrdhābhiṣiktānāṃ svayaṃ dharmaparāyaṇaḥ ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—യജ്ഞപരന്മാരുടെയും യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഒരിക്കലും പിൻമാറാത്തവരുടെയും, മൂർധാഭിഷിക്ത രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ വംശത്തിലാണ് ഞാൻ ജനിച്ചത്; ഞാനും സ്വയം ധർമ്മപരായണനാണ്.
