Adhyāya 35 — Bhīmasena’s Counter-Encirclement and the Karṇa Engagement Escalation

कर्णस्य यच्छ संग्रामे मद्रराज हयोत्तमान्‌ । त्वयाभिगुप्तो राधेयो विजेष्यति धनंजयम्‌,“मद्रराज! आप संग्राममें कर्णके इन उत्तम घोड़ोंको वशमें कीजिये। आपसे सुरक्षित होकर राधापुत्र कर्ण निश्चय ही अर्जुनको जीत लेगा”

sañjaya uvāca |

karṇasya yaccha saṅgrāme madrarāja hayottamān |

tvayābhigupto rādheyo vijeṣyati dhanañjayam ||

മദ്രരാജാവേ! യുദ്ധത്തിൽ കർണന്റെ ഈ ഉത്തമാശ്വങ്ങളെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കണമേ. നിന്റെ സംരക്ഷണത്തിൽ രാധേയൻ ധനഞ്ജയനെ നിശ്ചയമായും ജയിക്കും।
