धृतराष्ट्रस्य मूर्च्छा स्त्रीणां च आर्तनादः
Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Collapse and the Lament of the Palace Women
सर्व एव भवन्तश्न शक्ता: प्रत्येकशो5पि वा । पाण्डुपुत्रान् रणे हन्तुं ससैन्यान् किमु संहता:
sarva eva bhavantaś ca śaktāḥ pratyekaśo 'pi vā | pāṇḍuputrān raṇe hantuṃ sasainyān kimu saṃhatāḥ ||
നിങ്ങള് എല്ലാവരും ശേഷിയുള്ളവരാണ്—ഓരോരുത്തനും തനിച്ചായാലും—സൈന്യസഹിതം പാണ്ഡുപുത്രരെ യുദ്ധത്തില് വധിക്കുവാന്; പിന്നെ ഒന്നായി ചേർന്നാല് എത്രയധികം!
