The Crow-and-Swan Exemplum as Counsel to Karṇa
अन्तरं मार्गमाणौ च चेरतुस्तो महारथौ । ततः पूर्णायतोत्सूष्टे: शरैस्तौ तु कृतव्रणी
antaraṃ mārgamāṇau ca ceratusto mahārathau | tataḥ pūrṇāyatotsūṣṭeḥ śaraistau tu kṛtavraṇī
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഒരു വിടവ് തേടി ആ രണ്ടു മഹാരഥന്മാർ യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിൽ ഇങ്ങോട്ടും അങ്ങോട്ടും സഞ്ചരിച്ചു. പിന്നെ പൂർണ്ണമായി വലിച്ച വില്ലിൽ നിന്ന് വിട്ട അമ്പുകളാൽ അവർ പരസ്പരം വ്രണിതരായി।
