Tripura-destruction exemplum and counsel to Śalya
तदपास्य धनुश्किन्नं युयुत्सुर्वेगवत्तरम् अन्यदादत्त सुमहच्चापं संरक्तलोचन:,युयुत्सुने उस कटे हुए धनुषको फेंककर क्रोधसे आँखें लाल करके दूसरा अत्यन्त वेगशाली एवं विशाल धनुष हाथमें लिया
tad apāsya dhanuḥ chinnaṃ yuyutsuḥ vegavattaram anyad ādatta sumahac cāpaṃ saṃraktalocanaḥ
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—മുറിഞ്ഞ വില്ല് ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച്, ക്രോധത്തിൽ കണ്ണുകൾ ചുവന്ന യുയുത്സു മറ്റൊരു അതിമഹത്തായതും അതിവേഗപ്രവർത്തിയുള്ളതുമായ വില്ല് കൈക്കൊണ്ടു.
