Description of War Standards
वैनतेयस्य वीरस्यथ समरे रथशोभिन: । 'सूत! कौमोदकी गदा
sañjaya uvāca | vainateyasya vīrasya atha samare rathaśobhinaḥ | sūta! kaumodakī gadā divyā śaktiḥ cakraṃ dhanuḥ bāṇāḥ tathā anya-sarvāvaśyakāḥ sāmagrīḥ rathopari nidhāya tasya pṛṣṭhabhāge samara-aṅgaṇe rathopari śobhā-pānavataḥ vīrasya vinatānandana-garuḍa-cihna-dhvajāya api sthānaṃ kalpayasva ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “ഹേ സൂതാ! രഥത്തിൽ കൗമോദകീ ഗദ, ദിവ്യശക്തി, ചക്രം, ധനുസ്സ്, അമ്പുകൾ എന്നിവയും മറ്റു ആവശ്യമായ ഉപകരണങ്ങളും വെക്കുക; കൂടാതെ രഥത്തിന്റെ പിന്ഭാഗത്ത് വിനതാനന്ദന ഗരുഡചിഹ്നധ്വജത്തിനും സ്ഥലം ഒരുക്കുക—അങ്ങനെ ആ വീരൻ സമരത്തിൽ രഥശോഭയോടെ ദീപ്തനാകട്ടെ।”
