Droṇasya raudra-prayogaḥ
Droṇa’s intensified assault and the Pāṇḍava response
दीप्यन् दृश्येत हि तथा केतु: सर्वत्र धीमत: । जैसे प्रलयकालमें प्रज्वलित सूर्य सारी वसुधाको देदीप्यमान करते दिखायी देते हैं
sañjaya uvāca | dīpyan dṛśyeta hi tathā ketuḥ sarvatra dhīmataḥ | yathā pralayakāle prajvalitaḥ sūryaḥ sarvāṃ vasudhāṃ dīpyamānaḥ dṛśyate, tathā buddhimato 'rjunasya sa mahān ketuḥ sarvatra prakāśamāno dṛśyate sma |
അങ്ങനെ ബുദ്ധിമാനായ അർജുനന്റെ ആ ധ്വജം എല്ലായിടത്തും ജ്വലിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ദൃശ്യമാകുകയായിരുന്നു. പ്രളയകാലത്ത് പ്രജ്വലിതനായ സൂര്യൻ സർവ്വ ഭൂമിയെയും പ്രകാശത്തോടെ ജ്വലിപ്പിക്കുന്നതായി തോന്നുന്നതുപോലെ, ആ മഹാകേതു എല്ലാ ദിക്കുകളിലും ദീപ്തമായി കാണപ്പെട്ടു.
