द्रोणविक्रमदर्शनम् / The Display of Droṇa’s Onslaught and the Debate on Pāṇḍava Regrouping
दृष्टवा सत्यजिता द्रोणं ग्रस्यमानमिवाहवे । वृक: शरशतैस्तीक3्ष्णै: पाज्चाल्यो द्रोणमार्दयत्
dṛṣṭvā satyajitaṃ droṇaṃ grasyamānam ivāhave | vṛkaḥ śaraśatais tīkṣṇaiḥ pāñcālyo droṇam ārdayat ||
യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിൽ സത്യജിതന്റെ അമ്പുകൾ ദ്രോണാചാര്യനെ വിഴുങ്ങുന്നതുപോലെ കാണപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ, പാഞ്ചാല വീരനായ വൃകനും നൂറുകണക്കിന് മൂർച്ചയുള്ള ശരങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ട് ദ്രോണനെ കഠിനമായി പീഡിപ്പിച്ചു.
