नानृती पाण्डवो ज्येष्ठो नाहं वाधार्मिको<र्जुन शिष्यद्रोही हत: पापो युध्यस्व विजयस्तव

dhṛṣṭadyumna uvāca | nānṛtī pāṇḍavo jyeṣṭho nāhaṁ vādhārmiko 'rjuna | śiṣyadrohī hataḥ pāpo yudhyasva vijayas tava ||

ധൃഷ്ടദ്യുമ്നൻ പറഞ്ഞു— അർജുനാ! പാണ്ഡവന്മാരിൽ ജ്യേഷ്ഠനായ യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ അസത്യവാദിയല്ല; ഞാനും അധാർമ്മികനല്ല. ദ്രോണൻ പാപിയും ശിഷ്യദ്രോഹിയും ആയതിനാൽ അവൻ വധിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ഇനി നീ യുദ്ധം ചെയ്‌തു— വിജയം നിനക്കായിരിക്കും.
