സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ക്രുദ്ധ സർപ്പങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ബാണങ്ങൾ ഭൂമിയിലേക്കു കുത്തിനുഴഞ്ഞു. തുടർന്ന് ആ രക്തവർണ്ണിത ശരം മഹാസമരത്തിൽ കർണനെ ഭേദിച്ച്, കോപിച്ച നാഗങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ നിലത്തിനകത്ത് ലയിച്ചു.
संजय उवाच
