तयो: समभवद् युद्ध कर्णराक्षसयोर्मधे । गर्जतो राजशार्दूल शक्रप्रहादयोरिव
tayoḥ samabhavad yuddhaṁ karṇarākṣasayor madhye | garjato rājaśārdūla śakraprahādayor iva ||
അപ്പോൾ കർണനും ആ രാക്ഷസനും തമ്മിൽ ഭീകരമായ യുദ്ധം ഉദിച്ചു. രാജശാർദൂലനായ കർണൻ ഗർജ്ജിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്, ഒരിക്കൽ ശക്രൻ പ്രഹ്ലാദനോടു പോരാടിയതുപോലെ അവനോടു ഏറ്റുമുട്ടി.
