असिशभ्यां सम्प्रजह्गवाते परस्परमरिंदमौ । शत्रुओंका दमन करनेवाले वे दोनों यशस्वी वीर भ्रान्त

Transliteration

asiśabhyāṁ samprajahgavāte parasparam ariṁdamau | śatrūṇāṁ damaṇa karanevāle ve donoṁ yaśasvī vīra bhrānta, uddhānta, āviddha, āpluta, vipluta, sṛta, sampāta aura samudīrṇa ādi gati aura paiṁtare dikhāte hue paraspara talavāroṁ kā vāra karane lage |

Translation

സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു: ശത്രുദമകരായ ആ രണ്ടു യശസ്വി വീരന്മാർ പരസ്പരം വാൾപ്പോരിൽ ഏറ്റുമുട്ടി. ഭ്രാന്തം, ഉദ്ധാന്തം, ആവിദ്ധം, ആപ്ലുതം, വിപ്ലുതം, സൃതം, സമ്പാതം, സമുദീർണം തുടങ്ങിയ നാനാ ഗതികളും പായ്ച്ചലുകളും കാണിച്ച് അവർ തമ്മിൽ വാൾവെട്ടുകൾ ആരംഭിച്ചു—ചുറ്റി, ചാടി, കുതിച്ച്, വശത്തേക്ക് മാറി, മുന്നോട്ട് കുതിച്ചുയർന്ന്, നിലം വിട്ടുകൊടുക്കാതെ മേൽക്കൈ തേടി।
