अदृश्यांस्तावकान् योधानू् प्रचक्रे शत्रुतापन: । उस समय शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले नरव्याप्र अर्जुनने अपने छोड़े हुए सहस्तरों बाणोंद्वारा आपके योद्धाओंको अदृश्य कर दिया

adṛśyāṁs tāvakān yodhān pracakre śatrutāpanaḥ |
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ശത്രുതാപകനായ പാർഥൻ അർജുനൻ സഹസ്രങ്ങളായി അമ്പുകൾ വിട്ട് നിങ്ങളുടെ യോദ്ധാക്കളെ എല്ലാടവും മൂടി; അമ്പുമഴയിൽ അവർ യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിൽ അദൃശ്യരെന്നപോലെ ആയി।
