जामदग्न्याभ्यनुज्ञातमस्त्रे दुर्वारपौरुषम् । अगमन्नो मन: कर्ण बन्धुमात्ययिकेष्विव
jāmadagnyābhyanujñātam astre durvārapauruṣam | agamanno manaḥ karṇa bandhumātyayikeṣv iva, rājan ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—രാജാവേ, ജാമദഗ്ന്യൻ (പരശുരാമൻ) അനുമതി നൽകിയ ആയുധവിദ്യയിൽ അപ്രതിരോധ്യമായ വീര്യം ഉള്ള കർണനിലേക്കാണ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സ് തിരിഞ്ഞത്; മഹാവിപത്തിന്റെ സമയത്ത് മനുഷ്യന്റെ ചിന്തകൾ സ്വാഭാവികമായി സുഹൃത്തുക്കളിലേക്കും അടുത്ത ബന്ധുക്കളിലേക്കും പോകുന്നതുപോലെ।
