भीष्मस्य दुर्योधनं प्रति उपालम्भः

अभिदुद्राव वेगेन दुर्योधनमरिंदमम् । उसने इन्द्रके वज़के समान कान्तिमान् विशाल धनुषको खींचकर शत्रुदमन दुर्योधनपर बड़े वेगसे धावा किया ।। तमापतन्तमुद्वी क्षय कालसृष्टमिवान्तकम्
sañjaya uvāca | abhidudrāva vegena duryodhanam arindamam | tam āpatantam udvīkṣya kālasṛṣṭam ivāntakam ||
അവൻ മഹാവേഗത്തോടെ ശത്രുദമനായ ദുര്യോധനനെ അഭിമുഖമായി പാഞ്ഞെത്തി. അവൻ പതിച്ചുവരുന്നതു കണ്ട ദുര്യോധനൻ, അവനെ കാലം വിട്ടയച്ച അന്തകൻ—മരണദൂതൻ—പോലെ കണ്ടു.
