भीष्मशिबिरगमनम् — Duryodhana’s Visit to Bhīṣma’s Camp and the Command Appeal

युद्धकाले त्वयास्माकं साहां देयमिति प्रभो । बाढमित्येवमुक्त्वा तु युद्धकाल इहागत:,'शक्तिशाली पुत्र! युद्धूके अवसरपर तुम हमलोगोंको सहायता देना।” तब बहुत अच्छा कहकर इरावान्‌ चला गया और अब युद्धके अवसरपर यहाँ आया है

yuddhakāle tvayāsmākaṃ sāhāṃ deyam iti prabho | bāḍham ity evam uktvā tu yuddhakāla iha āgataḥ ||

സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “പ്രഭോ, യുദ്ധകാലത്ത് നീ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് സഹായം നൽകണം.” അവൻ “തഥാസ്തു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞ് പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോയി; ഇപ്പോൾ യുദ്ധസമയം വന്നപ്പോൾ വാഗ്ദത്ത സഹായം നിറവേറ്റാൻ ഇവിടെ എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
