Varṣa-Parvata-Nivāsinām Varnanam

अन्ये ततो<5परिज्ञाता हस्वा हस्वोपजीविन: । आर्या म्लेच्छाश्न॒ कौरव्य तैर्मिश्रा: पुरुषा विभो

anye tato 'parijñātā hrasvā hrasvopajīvinaḥ | āryā mlecchāś ca kauravya tair miśrāḥ puruṣā vibho ||

ഇവയ്ക്കപ്പുറവും ചെറുതും അപരിചിതവുമായ പർവതനിരകൾ ചിലതുണ്ട്—ചെറിയ ജനസമൂഹങ്ങളുടെ ഉപജീവനത്തിന് അവ ആശ്രയമാണ്. ഹേ കൗരവ്യ, ഹേ വിഭോ! ഈ ഭാരതവർഷത്തിൽ ആര്യർ, മ്ലേച്ഛർ, കൂടാതെ മിശ്രോത്ഭവരായ മനുഷ്യർ വസിക്കുന്നു.
