संजातरुधिरोत्पीड: प्रेक्षणीयो5भवदू रणे । गभस्तिभिरिवार्कस्य संस्यूतो जलदो महान्
sañjātarudhirotpīḍaḥ prekṣaṇīyo ’bhavad raṇe | gabhastibhir ivārkasya saṃsyūto jalado mahān ||
യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിൽ ആ മഹാമേഘം പുതുതായി പൊട്ടിയൊഴുകുന്ന രക്തധാരകളാൽ ഉച്ചത്തിൽ പൊങ്ങി, കാണത്തക്ക ദൃശ്യമായി—സൂര്യകിരണങ്ങൾ തുന്നിച്ചേർത്തതുപോലെ കട്ടിയാർന്ന മേഘം പോലെ.
