तथैव पाण्डवा: सर्वे महत्या सेनया सह । द्रोणभीष्मौ रणे यत्तौ प्रत्युद्ययुररिंदमौ,इसी प्रकार विशाल सेनाके साथ समस्त पाण्डव भी युद्धके लिये तैयार खड़े हुए शत्रुदमन द्रोणाचार्य और भीष्मसे भिड़नेके लिये आगे बढ़े

tathaiva pāṇḍavāḥ sarve mahatyā senayā saha | droṇabhīṣmau raṇe yattau pratyudyayur arindamau ||

അതുപോലെ എല്ലാ പാണ്ഡവരും മഹാസേനയോടുകൂടെ യുദ്ധത്തിന് സന്നദ്ധരായി നിന്നു; റണത്തിൽ ഏർപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന ശത്രുദമന്മാരായ ദ്രോണനെയും ഭീഷ്മനെയും നേരിടാൻ മുന്നേറി।
