Daiva–Puruṣakāra Discourse and the Elephant-Corps Engagement (भीमगजानीक-सम्भ्रान्ति)

धर्मराजश्न तान्‌ सर्वानिपजग्राह पाण्डव: । महता मेघवर्णेन नागानीकेन पृष्ठत:,तत्पश्चात्‌ पाण्डुनन्दन धर्मराज युधिष्ठिर मेघोंकी घटाके समान हाथियोंकी विशाल सेना साथ लिये पीछेसे आकर उन सबकी सहायता करने लगे

sañjaya uvāca | dharmarājaś ca tān sarvān upajagrāha pāṇḍavaḥ | mahatā meghavarṇena nāgānīkena pṛṣṭhataḥ |

അതിനുശേഷം പാണ്ഡുനന്ദനനായ ധർമ്മരാജ യുദ്ധിഷ്ഠിരൻ മഴമേഘക്കൂട്ടംപോലെ ഇരുണ്ട വർണ്ണമുള്ള മഹത്തായ ഗജസേനയെ പിന്നിൽ നിന്ന് മുന്നോട്ട് നീക്കി, അവരെയെല്ലാം സംരക്ഷിക്കാനും സഹായിക്കാനും തുടങ്ങി.
