श्रुतायुषमभिप्रेक्ष्य भीमसेन: समभ्ययात् | भरतश्रेष्ठ) कलिंगसेनाके अग्रभागमें राजा श्रुतायुको देखकर भीमसेन उसका सामना करनेके लिये आगे बढ़े
śrutāyuṣam abhiprekṣya bhīmasenaḥ samabhyayāt |
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ശ്രുതായുവിനെ കണ്ടതോടെ ഭീമസേനൻ നേരെ അവന്റെ നേരെ മുന്നേറി. ഭരതശ്രേഷ്ഠാ, കലിംഗസേനയുടെ മുൻനിരയിൽ രാജാവ് ശ്രുതായുവിനെ കണ്ട ഭീമസേനൻ യുദ്ധത്തിനായി അവനെ നേരിടാൻ പാഞ്ഞുചെന്നു.
