स्थिता युद्धाय महते ततो युद्धमवर्तत । इसी प्रकार समस्त पाण्डव भी अर्जुनको सब ओरसे घेरकर महायुद्धके लिये वहाँ डटे हुए थे, अतः उनमें भारी युद्ध छिड़ गया
sthitā yuddhāya mahate tato yuddham avartata |
മഹായുദ്ധത്തിനായി അവർ ഉറച്ചുനിന്നു; പിന്നെ യുദ്ധം ആരംഭിച്ചു. അതുപോലെ പാണ്ഡവരും അർജുനനെ എല്ലാദിക്കിലും ചുറ്റി മഹാസമരത്തിനായി അവിടെ അചഞ്ചലമായി നിന്നു; അതിനാൽ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഭയങ്കര ഏറ്റുമുട്ടൽ പൊട്ടിപ്പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
