Rajo-dhūli-saṃmūḍha-saṅgrāmaḥ
The Dust-Obscured Battle and Mutual Charges
तेषां क्रोधं चिन्तयंस्तु अह:सु च निशासु च । न शान्तिमधिगच्छामि दुर्योधनकृतेन हि । कथं चाभून्महायुद्ध॑ सर्वमाचक्ष्व संजय
teṣāṁ krodhaṁ cintayaṁs tu ahaḥsu ca niśāsu ca | na śāntim adhigacchāmi duryodhana-kṛtena hi | kathaṁ cābhūn mahāyuddhaṁ sarvam ācakṣva sañjaya ||
ധൃതരാഷ്ട്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ദുര്യോധനന്റെ ചെയ്തികളാൽ പാണ്ഡവരുടെ ക്രോധം ഉയർന്നതിനെ പകലും രാത്രിയും ചിന്തിച്ചാൽ എനിക്ക് ശാന്തി ലഭിക്കുന്നില്ല. ഹേ സഞ്ജയാ! ആ മഹായുദ്ധം എങ്ങനെ സംഭവിച്ചു—എല്ലാം പറയുക.
