जगाम धरणीं बाणो महाशनिरिव ज्वलन् । उस समय देवताओं, गन्धर्वों, पिशाचों, नागों तथा राक्षसोंने भी देखा, वह बाण महान् वज्रके समान प्रज्वलित हो उठा और अमित बलशाली श्वेतके कवच तथा हृदयको भी छेदकर धरतीमें समा गया

ആ അമ്പ് മഹാവജ്രംപോലെ ജ്വലിച്ച് ഭൂമിയിലേക്കു കുത്തിപ്പൊങ്ങി മറഞ്ഞു. ആ നിമിഷം ദേവന്മാരും ഗന്ധർവന്മാരും പിശാചന്മാരും നാഗന്മാരും രാക്ഷസന്മാരും കണ്ടു—അമിതബലശാലിയായ ശ്വേതന്റെ കവചവും ഹൃദയവും തുളച്ച് അത് മണ്ണിൽ ലയിച്ചതിനെ.
