भूमिगुण-प्रश्नः
Inquiry into the qualities of Earth and the classification of beings
संजय उवाच पज्चेमानि महाराज महाभूतानि संग्रहात् । जगतीस्थानि सर्वाणि समान्याहुर्मनीषिण:
sañjaya uvāca pañcemāni mahārāja mahābhūtāni saṅgrahāt | jagatīsthāni sarvāṇi samānyāhur manīṣiṇaḥ ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു— മഹാരാജാ! ഈ ഭൂമിയിൽ ഉള്ള എല്ലാം സംക്ഷേപത്തിൽ പഞ്ചമഹാഭൂതങ്ങളുടെ സംയോജനമാണ്; അതുകൊണ്ട് മേധാവികൾ അവയ്ക്കെല്ലാം ഒരേ പൊതുവായ അടിസ്ഥാനം—സമാനമായ മൂലസ്വഭാവം—ഉണ്ടെന്ന് പറയുന്നു.
