Kurukṣetra-sainyadarśana and Arjuna-viṣāda (धर्मक्षेत्रे समवेता युयुत्सवः — अर्जुनविषाद)
कान्तारभयदुर्गेषु भक्तानां चालयेषु च | नित्यं वससि पाताले युद्धे जयसि दानवान्
Arjuna uvāca | kāntārabhayadurgeṣu bhaktānāṁ cālayeṣu ca | nityaṁ vasasi pātāle yuddhe jayasi dānavān ||
അർജുനൻ പറഞ്ഞു— അമ്മേ! ഭയങ്കരമായ കാന്താരങ്ങളിലും ഭീതിജനകമായ ദുർഗമസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലും, ഭക്തരുടെ ഗൃഹ-ആലയങ്ങളിലും, പാതാളത്തിലും നീ നിത്യവസിക്കുന്നു. യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ദാനവന്മാരെ നീ ജയിക്കുന്നു.
