यमौ च चेकितानश्न केकया: पञज्च चैव ह । सात्यकिश्व महाबाहु: सौभद्रो5थ घटोत्कच:
yamau ca cekitānaś ca kekayāḥ pañca caiva ha | sātyakiś ca mahābāhuḥ saubhadro ’tha ghaṭotkacaḥ ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—യമജന്മാരായ നകുലനും സഹദേവനും, ചേകിതാനൻ, കേകയദേശത്തിലെ അഞ്ചു രാജകുമാരന്മാർ, മഹാബാഹു സാത്യകി, സുഭദ്രാപുത്രൻ അഭിമന്യു, കൂടാതെ ഘടോത്കചൻ—ഇവരും മറ്റും അനേകം പാണ്ഡവപക്ഷ വീരന്മാർ ഭീഷ്മന്റെ അമ്പുകളാൽ പീഡിതരായി ശോകസമുദ്രത്തിൽ മുങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു; എന്നാൽ ഫാൽഗുനൻ (അർജുനൻ) അവരെല്ലാം രക്ഷിച്ചു.
